As the CEO and co-founder of Allocate, I lead a platform that helps investors responsible build and manage highly personalized private alternative portfolios. As a digital solution, we remove the barriers and constraints for family offices and wealth advisory firms in private market investing. The company was created through my observations of pain points for both fund managers and limited partners through my 25 years of working within the private equity and venture capital markets. I also host Venture Unlocked, a podcast and blog that dives into the inner workings of venture capital. Through this platform, I share my insights and perspectives from working with over 700 private funds and venture-backed startups at First Republic Bank and SVB, where I completed over $12 billion in debt transactions and made early stage investments in companies like Carta, Side, Policy Genius, and Fanduel.
