Samira is passionate about empowerment & wellbeing, especially for women - in an ever-changing world of tech + AI. She has previously served as a catalyst for social innovation, impact, & engagement at Salesforce, Microsoft, and elsewhere.— She defines wellbeing in the broadest sense (health, livelihoods, ed, safety/security, sustainability, nature, equality, justice, resilience, peace, democratization of innov/freedom/voice, & connection). To date, she’s devoted or committed significant energy into global changemaking via community building. She’s enjoyed early design facilitation, strategizing, and bringing ideas + models to life with innovators and partners over time, or stakeholder engagement. Samira has dabbled in angel investing & seeks to rapidly grow in that direction soon. — Overall, Samira has worked w/a variety orgs in a cross-sector fashion (such as govt. officials, IGOs, F500 companies, foundations, impact investors, start ups, social enterprises, & nonprofits). She has covered numerous & diverse industries; touching a range of social challenges in four regions/eight countries in the form of projects. Samira believes intra-/entrepreneurship + creativity empowers; and that this global palette gives her unique perspective. Further, loves S ASIA cross-cultural storytelling & writing, and transcendent or SUBLIME moments. She is increasingly interested in how the mind/brain works (learning!); and tech safety/cybersecurity (novice). At the highest level, Samira aspires to draw from all of these experiences to transform society for the future - in innovative ways, especially for overlooked groups across the world . . . so that even more girls (like her daughters) and women can realize their dreams - with greater voice, capital, and confidence.
