
I just finished my postdoc at Weill Cornell Medical School and New York Presbyterian Hospital, where I designed and built experimental setups to investigate the biomechanics of human coronary arteries under physiological conditions. I also developed in-vitro platforms for human coronary arteries using coronary CT angiograms and 3D-printing to non-invasively evaluate patient-specific coronary ischemia and fractional flow reserve measurements. I supervised, trained, and managed a team of physicians, engineers, and students. I have over 10 years of experience in fluid mechanics, biomechanics, computed tomography, magnetic resonance velocimetry, and medical devices research. I received my PhD in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I performed particle image velocimetry and magnetic resonance velocimetry on 3D-printed lung models to better understand respiratory flows and drug delivery in the lungs. My interests include medical devices, public health, medical imaging, and cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
