An experienced recruiting professional, Rick is committed to client satisfaction and developing long-term relationships with MLA’s law firm clients. Rick works with law firm clients to identify needs across their entire firm, and then uses the world-class resources of MLA’s law firm practice groups – Associate, Partner and Law Firm Management – to ensure those needs are filled with the absolute best match of talent wherever they exist geographically. A strong advocate for his clients, Rick is committed to identifying innovative talent solutions from the breadth of services available through MLA. Rick brings to MLA significant expertise in recruiting and in-depth market knowledge of the legal profession. He has over 10 years of executive search and management consulting experience, having previously worked at Spencer Stuart and another major legal recruiting firm. Prior to his recruiting career, Rick established a successful Beverly Hills dental practice and served four years of active military duty as a Commissioned Naval Officer. As a Naval Officer, Rick completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, and then elected to serve with the Marines as a triage officer during Operation Desert Storm. Rick has received multiple awards and Letters of Commendation and was selected for early promotion to Lieutenant Commander. He is honored to be part of a veteran organization whose primary focus is helping disabled veterans find employment. Rick received an accelerated combined BS and DMD, cum laude, degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
