Crypto trader, smart contract auditor, Full-Stack Developer, Cyber Security, Independent Analyst, Quantitative Researcher, bug bounty hunter, DeFi degenerate high level strategy low level implementations specialist
Robert's work in the Financial Sector began at an Independent Brokerage Firm; where he spent two years working in Operations, Securities, Corporate Actions and Compliance departments. During this time he completed both the CSC and the CPH, however he also began conducting his own research in quantitative finance and algorithmic trading. In the end, this lead him away from his original plan to become an Investment Advisor (IA) and he decided to return to school to finish his University degree (finance). Robert has taken special interest in studying the ways in which technology has changed the investment landscape. He has done extensive research on the history and evolution of market structure and the impact that new technologies have had on trading operations and regulatory oversight. He believes that understanding these relationships is crucial in order to predict both the future direction of the markets and the decisions made by its participants. Over the last year Robert has been applying his philosophy on trading (current intrinsic value vs. future perceived value) to his studies on technical analysis optimization and financial modelling. Robert has seen his investing IQ seriously increase over this time and has learned to use new software such as Chartnexus, Matlab and Td's ThinkorSwim. Robert has read many books on investing - specifically on Hedge Funds; their management and administration, their investment styles and strategies as well as on how to model and analyze their returns with risk-adjusted metrics using the VBA Language. During his role as Director of Investor Relations of Equitysoft Valuations, Robert has familiarized himself with the major securities legislation in several jurisdictions. This includes a detailed reading of SIBA and MFR (BVI), NI 31-103 and NI 45-106 (Canada) and the Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (USA).
