
I have helped companies and organizations measure, manage, and communicate the efforts they make to reduce their climate impacts for 10 years. Through the sale of carbon and energy attribute certificates, and through the delivery and implementation of corporate emissions reduction strategies I have helped affect the reduction, removal, or avoidance of over 1 million tonnes of CO2-equivalent. In 2014, I developed one of the first commercial voluntary carbon neutral products and service programs in the world. To-date, it has brought over 100,000 individual products, services, companies, or components thereof to market across more than 15 industries. The Carbon Neutral Checkout model has been emulated by companies around the world, with dozens of firms today offering some differentiated form of the framework. I work most often with executive decision makers to build lasting value by reducing their negative impacts. I lead situationally and have a successful record of creating buy-in on 'hard sells' from even the most unlikely of sources. I have experience contributing to and leading both sales and consulting teams. At CCC I brought business models and specific products from concept, to market, to stand-alone businesses, with revenue growth exceeding 100%, for 4 years, with >25% average quarter over quarter growth over 6 years. At South Pole, I helped to drive similar growth in revenues, helping SP USA achieve over 4x in sales growth over 3 years, all with household name brands and financial institutions. I spoke at COP 25 about my research on voluntary markets in the US, and how the VCM will react to Article 6 in the Paris Climate Agreement. I am versed in corresponding adjustments, and have contributed to working groups focused on regenerative agriculture, strategic development in the energy sector, and a platform to track corporate climate disclosure and net zero progress. I always do my best to take stress, pressure, and adversity all on in-stride, and work to make the best of every situation in work and life. I bring a high energy, and deep care/pride for the quality of my results. I hang my hat on my ability to meet and exceed expectations, and provide real value to the people I work with. If the objective I have aligns with my own values and personal expectations, there's not much anyone is going to do to stop me from turning that objective into reality.
