Building Something New in Civic Tech

Currently the Executive Director of Resistbot. Resistbot has been used by over 10 million people to drive over 40 million letters to their elected officials, and its voter turnout capability has been published in three academic studies, including a nearly 2% lift for a statewide election. Before creating Resistbot in 2017, I was the first designer at Mint (acquired by Intuit), the first-ever Designer-in-Residence at a venture capital firm (Bessemer Venture Partners), and co-founded a venture-funded startup, Votizen (Founders Fund), acquired by Causes/Brigade Media in 2012.
