ML Engineer at Apple

I am a Graduate Student at Carnegie Mellon University(CMU), School of Computer Science pursuing Computational Data Science. I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the TEEL Lab at CMU, where I conduct research on streamlining curriculum design using GPT-4. I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from PES University, where I graduated in 2021. My core competencies include Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning. Before joining CMU, I worked as a Research Engineer at Niramai Health Analytix, a startup that uses AI to improve breast cancer diagnosis. There, I led the initiative to increase the hit ratio of detecting tumors in radiology images by using Mask RCNN, and combined insights from different modalities to reduce false positives. I also contributed to the product development from inception to clinical trial, working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists and engineers. My goal is to apply my skills and knowledge to create innovative and impactful solutions that can enhance the quality of education and healthcare. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a passion for learning and exploring new domains.
