I am an unapologetic optimist with a wide variety of skills who likes to work with others. While I can be a valuable "ideas person", my strength really lies in getting things done. I love learning new things and getting my hands dirty. I am deeply and broadly curious. I'm not afraid to dig into code, systems administration, automation, hardware and suchlike. Nor am I afraid to say that I don't know how something works (the ratio of expertise to ignorance is ~1:∞, be wary of anyone who insists otherwise) or admit that I am wrong. I love to present and teach and be on stage. I am handy with grants, budgets, reports and other bureaucratic ephemera. Currently, I work remotely with an eye towards security.
