Peter has spent much of his 13yrs of financial markets experience in commodities/shipping derivatives (some similarities to carbon credits) markets, building up desks in HK and Singapore for the largest inter-dealer brokers in the world, building close relationships with commodity producers/buyers, banks, energy/shipping industries, trading houses, and hedge funds. He developed the nascent commodities/shipping derivatives markets across China, S. Korea, Japan, HK, SG with insights and research on macroeconomic and regulatory updates to build greater interest in strategic hedging, risk management, and speculation. He’s worked closely with exchanges like SGX (and LCH), CME, DCE to increase liquidity and global visibility. He’s also managed systems integration projects at large financial institutions around the world for 7yrs as well as working with blockchain/cryptocurrency startups for over 6yrs on business development, partnerships, and operations.
