Peter Sisson is a successful entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience founding, funding, and growing startup businesses in Silicon Valley. He started 4 tech companies, all acquired, and built an accelerator for under-represented founders whose graduates have raised more than $500M and created more than 3000 jobs. The companies Peter founded share a common theme of working with incumbents to disrupt their own industries before new entrants could. If you have ever ordered a bottle of wine online or used an app to make a phone call, Peter fought many of the battles necessary to make that possible. Peter has been named one of the top 10 people to watch by CNET, won a DEMO God award, and in 2019 was named one of the 23 most powerful LGBTQ people in tech by Business Insider. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Peter worked in equity research at Montgomery Securities, management consulting at Arthur D. Little, and software development at AT&T Bell Laboratories. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, an MS in artificial intelligence from Stanford University, and a BA in math and computer science from Cornell University. Outside of work, Peter is a passionate world traveler whose adventures have taken him from 150 feet below sea level diving in Palau to 17,770 feet above trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
