
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Leader
I began my journey with Nokia in December 2012 as an LTE Network Planning & Optimization Engineer, contributing to project setup and rollout activities. Shortly after, I was entrusted with the role of Team Leader and SPOC for key projects, demonstrating my ability to manage complex operations. By August 2015, I was appointed Operational Coordinator for Network Design & Deployment activities, where I refined my expertise in delivering high-impact outcomes. In 2016, I transitioned into Continuous Improvement leadership, driving quality improvement programs in Global Services and achieving sustainable results aligned with key performance indicators. This experience strengthened my focus on operational excellence and my ability to implement effective transformation initiatives. Subsequently, I took on responsibilities for end-to-end audit management and business-critical process assessments, which led to my current roles as Privacy Lead for Supply & Procurement tools in Global Business Services (GBS), and Digitalization Processes & Transformation Manager, where I focus on leveraging digital solutions to enhance efficiency and enable innovation. Throughout my career, I have pursued continuous development, acquiring certifications such as PMP®, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, EFQM Assessor, and Quality Management System Auditor. These qualifications, coupled with targeted training in leadership, process management, and virtual team management, have equipped me to lead multicultural teams and navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving industry. My ability to integrate change, standardize processes, and maintain a customer-oriented mindset has been a cornerstone of my professional growth. I trace these leadership skills back to my university days, where I was elected three times as President of the Students Association Board at the University of Porto’s Engineering Faculty. This foundation has guided my approach to fostering collaboration and delivering results throughout my career.
