Pankaj Shah is a founder, investor, advisor and treasure hunter. He is a co-founder of Sankhara, an alternative asset fund focused on collecting the human experience and creating joy, wonder and awe. He is also the Managing Director of Finches, a Silicon Valley-based investment and advisory firm. He is an early backer and/or advisor to Addepar, Amity Ventures, BuildZoom, Easyknock, GOAT Fuel, Kiwi Crate, LineLeap, Montage Ventures, nOps, OpenGov, OVO Fund, PAIR Eyewear, Precursor Ventures, Streamlined Ventures, Tuesday Capital and dozens of other entities. Finches also owns a stake in Cibona, a Croatian basketball team and La Leyenda, an award-winning full-term agave brand. His current philanthropic focus is with the Angiogenesis Foundation. Pankaj is also an advocate for Every Mother Counts, Virgin Unite and Witness. Previously, he proudly served on the Board of Directors for BRAC USA and Girls, Inc and supported Music Rising. Pankaj has been a guest speaker at a number of top schools, including Columbia University, Harvard University, New York University, Stanford University, Tufts University and the University of California Haas Graduate School of Business. He loves to listen to music, play sports, travel and hang out with his kids.
