Considering how important money is, we sure don't talk about it a lot. 🤓☝🏻 Finance has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, from tracking stocks in the newspapers and collecting gemstones in elementary school to teaching my whole family about index funds in high school. For the past 10 years now, my primary focus has been digital assets (cryptocurrencies, digital securities, DeFi, etc.). While training executives & regulators on such a specialized topic has been exciting, I am increasingly finding myself explaining personal finance basics: Budgeting, paying down high-interest debt, saving, and ultimately investing. Looking into it a bit more, a whopping 72% of households do not have a written financial plan and only 17% of US retail investors feel confident in their portfolio strategy.
