[ Versatile Engineering Leader with Deep Technical Expertise and Business Acumen ] 20+ years of experience working with companies of all stages: from bootstrapping startups, scaling startups in build stage, and setting up for growth as a pre-ipo/public company; delivering software solutions in areas of distributed systems, databases, data platform, infrastructure and platform software, manageability and observability, cloud, networking, blockchain and security. Always an engineer at heart. My dopamine comes from solving engineering problems and building great software. Throughout my career, I have honed the ability to transform abstract concepts into groundbreaking and innovative solutions with 15+ patents. Those who know me say that I am also defined by my curiosity and thirst for learning. Combining this with perseverance will enable us to do "great and useful" things. Outside of work, I unwind by running 2 to 3 times a week and traveling to new places. I have been an avid jogger since 2018 and am committed to continuing this practice.
