Investing in (pre)seed B2B software startups with an interesting data angle and exceptional founders. Purpose driven builder who has worked at the intersection of venture capital and entrepreneurship. I value compassion and honesty and I care about impact and presence. I add value by 1) simplifying complex information to define focused data driven strategies / execution, 2) find exceptional companies or talent via my network, or 3) help scale via a combination of community building and utilising technology. Built a global artificial intelligence community in 80+ cities with City.ai and been sourcing series A stage deal flow whilst building the DataSeries network for the venture capital firm OpenOcean. Previously built and managed the B2B Accelerator Startup Wise Guys that has since invested in hundreds of pre-seed startups. Also used to cover venture capital business development for Amazon Web Services in EMEA and started CCC Startups and Startup AddVenture, a global entrepreneurship network that produced events in 7 different countries reaching thousands of entrepreneurs. Had several other own endeavours and worked for IBM in M&A and strategic outsourcing. I have worked with many startups around the globe and I’m an active advisor/board member to several of them - e.g. helped Saas company Scoro with their series A expansion as head of business development and chairman of the board. I occasionally speak at conferences and mentor at various incubators/accelerators such as Techstars. Expertise: 1.
