My goal as a Geotechnical Engineer is to not only be able to recognize geohazards and prevent failures, but to also understand risk and how to effectively execute a plan in order to protect society and infrastructure. I have been enjoying working in the Kivalliq region of Nunavut and the unique challenges it offers, particularly permafrost engineering. I specialize in geotechnical design, tailings dam engineering, tailings management and operations, and instrumentation monitoring. I have experience in soil drilling, rock coring, engineering design from conceptual to detailed stages, project controls, and construction management.
