Michael is CFO at Pano AI where he is responsible for Finance, Accounting, Legal, Analytics, IT, and IS. Pano AI is the leader in early wildfire detection and intelligence, providing government, utilities, insurers, and private landowners with advanced tools and up-to-the-minute intelligence to quickly mitigate wildfire threats while protecting lives, property, and the environment. Pano has been recognized as one of the Top 100 most influential companies by Time Magazine, one of the 10 most innovative companies in AI by Fast Company, among a number of other recognitions. Previously, Michael was Sr. Director of Strategic Finance responsible for the Finance side of Corporate Development - M&A, Investments, and Partnerships - within DoorDash (NYSE: DASH). During his time leading the team, DoorDash acquired Wolt ($8B), BBot (undisclosed), and Chowbotics (undisclosed), invested in a number of companies including Flink (led $750M round) as well as evaluating countless of other opportunities for investment or acquisition. After each acquisition, Michael and team worked on integration as well to ensure the acquisitions were successful. Michael was previously the Finance lead for Caviar, Chowbotics, and DoorDash Kitchens as business units and led the Merchant Finance team.
