Administrative Coordinator, Corporate Business Development
With a passion for bringing inclusive, sustainable growth to local economies, I see entrepreneurship and startups as the means to bringing growth, technology, and change to communities, cities, and economies. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a lifelong Midwesterner, I see the untapped potential in the heartland, and I am ready to make an impact on this region by supporting entrepreneurship, developing local ecosystems, and creating startup communities. With a background in client consulting, due diligence and market research, community engagement, social media marketing, organization operations, and more, I am ready to start a career supporting entrepreneurs in the Midwest. As a consulting associate with I-CCEW, I worked one-on-one with the founder of Hive, a DEI and culture building platform to transform the founder’s idea into a functional business model with a verified target market, tested value proposition, and a five-year financial model. With this experience I am ready to work with new ventures conduct due diligence work, while also engaging the market and industry to truly understand the problem and thus offer a solution. Having gained client communication and interviewing skills, I am prepared to take on Customer Success, Account Executive, and Sales Executive roles, where I can connect with customers and potential clients to understand their needs and offer solutions and work with them every step of the way to make sure their wishes are met. As an introvert, I am more prone to listen first, and I see this aptitude as vital in such roles, and I am eager to learn and grow in such positions. Working as a Student Assistant at the Women’s Leadership Programs, I not only gained the experience of planning and executing events, but I also saw how important local government, activism, and community are to states like Oklahoma. I ran the social media pages for the organization and assisted the director with the planning of 2 events during the year, learning so much that I was entrusted to manage the organization during a transition period, and then guide the new director through her first year. This role prepared me to take on marketing and social media strategy for a new organization and with an acute attention to detail, I am ready to take on an Administrative Assistant role to help organize schedules, prepare and take notes during meetings, and organize other logistics. Most importantly, I am ready to learn, grow, and take in as much as possible at a new company!
