Matt Medved is the Co-Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of Now Media, an award-winning Web3 media tech company. An early adopter of blockchain and AI, he has spent more than a decade bridging media, culture, and technology to uplift creatives. Since its launch in 2021, Now Media has launched leading digital platforms like nft now, innovative web3 products such as Sovereignty and the Now Pass, and premier events like Gateway and NFT100. It also became the first digital media company to curate a major auction house sale. Yahoo Finance has named Matt as one of the top 10 most influential figures in web3. Matt Medved previously served as SVP of Content at Modern Luxury, the largest luxury media company, and as Editor-in-Chief of SPIN, where he rebranded the iconic music and culture title and exited with its 2020 sale. Prior to SPIN, Matt founded Billboard Dance in 2015, growing it into the global leader in dance/electronic music and spearheading Billboard's content strategy for new verticals. Before Billboard, Matt conducted human rights field research in Nigeria and wrote $2 million in grants for the U.S. Department of State and USAID as a consultant for the conflict resolution NGO Search for Common Ground. He also reached over 6 million listeners as a guest DJ on Africa’s largest radio station. As a DJ/producer, Medved has released music on Interscope, RCA, and Astralwerks and performed at major festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC, and Electric Zoo. He holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University and J.D. and M.A. degrees from George Washington University.
