With over six years of software engineering experience, I am a passionate and skilled leader who strives to deliver high-quality products that delight users and meet business goals. I have a strong background in web and mobile development, using cutting-edge technologies such as Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Figma. I currently lead a team of software developers at Rakuten Rewards, one of the world's largest e-commerce and online retailing companies. As an Engineering Manager at Rakuten Rewards, I am responsible for the team that is maintaining and improving the home screen across the web, iOS, and Android platforms. I implemented a new agile process for increased productivity and quicker delivery, and I am overseeing two large projects to deprecate legacy technologies. I also pioneered replacing an existing tech stack with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Storybook, and contributed nearly 60,000 lines of code to the UIKit since its inception. I collaborate closely with designers to deliver a best-practices guideline of how to handoff Figma designs to frontend developers across all platforms. I also completed a Udemy course on Figma, and I use it extensively to create and test prototypes, mockups, and wireframes.
