Marissa is the founder of Trew Media. Marissa works closely with brands and projects to develop their content strategies, shape their brand narratives and engage with their target audiences effectively. She built her name within the emerging tech space as a professional speaker, podcaster and writer since 2016. Marissa has produced and hosted multiple tech-centric podcasts centred around the critical discourse on the transformative technologies shaping our world – specialising in blockchain and AI. She has hosted and led interviews with some of the biggest names in emerging tech, including the founders of Aptos, Sui, Animoca Brands, Ethena Labs, M^0, Avail, Movement Labs, DASTAN and others. Marissa has spoken at major global events such as Consensus by CoinDesk, SXSW, VidCon, NFT Paris, and NFT.NYC. She also curated and hosted all blockchain art-related conference programming at Art Basel (Basel, Paris, Miami). Beyond tech, Marissa hosts the Just So We’re Clear podcast, focused on modern Asian womanhood. In its 5th season, the podcast has organically grown a large community of listeners, and has worked with brands including Bumble, Estee Lauder, Vans, Womanizer and others.
