Associate at Nordic House

I'm currently serving as an associate at Nordic House, a cultural pop-up space showcasing the five Nordic countries, where I am responsible for running all aspects of the retail side, and assisting in event planning and marketing. Through my work at Mayo Clinic, as an assistant coordinator, I was in charge of patient recruitment for multiple research studies, as well as management and organization of study databases. I was trusted with securely mining through an abundance of patient files, identifying patients that qualify, and reaching out to potential participants, among other responsibilities. Assuming a leadership role as a student assistant at the University of Wisconsin Library System, I managed workload for the student assistant team, trained new students and oversaw daily book requests. I pride myself on my organizational skills and ability to think creatively. I work well in a team because I am highly collaborative, am an active listener and have a strong desire to help others work smoothly and effectively together. I am always eager to learn and improve, and I acquire new skills quickly. I strongly believe that everyone has a right to respect, justice, love, security, and peace. I have always felt a strong connection to nature, and I feel that environmental protection is of the utmost importance.
