I’ve spent the past 20+ years as a CEO building companies at the intersection of technology, culture, and impact. I’ve led multiple venture-backed technology companies through rapid growth—scaling revenue to over $400M annually, building teams of 1,200+, and raising more than $1.5 billion from investors like a16z, Google, Tencent, and Warner Bros. Those years taught me how to navigate uncertainty, scale organizations, and build products people love. Today, I bring that CEO experience to creating climate solutions. As Executive Director of Bright Saver, I’m working to grow the U.S. market for plug-in solar—a radically accessible form of clean energy designed for people often left out of traditional solar solutions. It’s affordable, portable, and easy to install. And it has the potential to unlock clean energy access for millions. I believe that climate solutions must also be equity solutions. That belief shapes how I lead, how I build, and where I focus. My journey also includes making the largest gift by a UC Berkeley alum under 40, joining the Board of Trustees, and being named UC Berkeley’s Alumnus of the Year, a Fortune 40 under 40 honoree, and one of CNN’s Smartest People in Tech. What I’m most excited about now: helping plug-in solar go mainstream—and using everything I’ve learned as a CEO to make clean energy truly for everyone.
