Postdoc@Harvard, PhD@MIT - Robotics, Motor Control, Neurorehab
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University, working with Prof. Conor Walsh in the Harvard Biodesign Lab. My current work focuses on developing soft robotic apparel to support people with Parkinson’s disease, as part of a collaboration between the Harvard team and Prof. Terry Ellis’s clinical team at Boston University.I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, where my research focused on quantifying human balance performance and control to advance therapeutic interventions. I also hold a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.Beyond academia, I have experience in mechanical design, robotics, and software program management within medical devices, tech, and aerospace industries. I also explored applications of reinforcement learning to bipedal robotic locomotion during my time at Microsoft Research.
