Hi! My name is Kat and I am a PhD researcher at the University of Oxford examining the sociology of work and geographies of artificial intelligence. I am also the creator of the <Design Ethically> project. My work with <Design Ethically> has taken me around the world. I've presented at the Nobel Prize Summit (2023), EU Parliament (2022), the US Federal Trade Commission (2021), and the World Wide Web Foundation (2021) as an expert on design ethics in the tech industry. Featured in the "In AI We Trust" podcast (via EqualAI and the World Economic Forum), and quoted in the BBC, WIRED, Fast Company, Protocol, and Tech Policy Press. Listed as one of the 2021 Rising Stars in AI Ethics by Women in AI Ethics.
