Director, Design and Research (Opower)

I've spent the past 1.5 decades working in tech across strategy, research and design. I enjoy spanning disciplines, and I bring as much empathy for my cross functional teammates as I do for the end customers we all serve. In my current role as a design leader at Opower, my team works behind the meter to understand and influence energy decisions at scale. I love finding the perfect method, whether it's a framework, journey map, ideation activity, or just a great customer quote to build empathy for the people on the other side of our designs. At the end of my career, I aspire to be able say "the climate is at least a smidge better because of the work we did."
