My passion is people - understanding, hiring, leading, and growing them. I’m a builder. I’ve led and grown recruitment teams of 1-40+, worked internationally, and been a strategic HR business partner. I love learning people’s stories, and I care deeply about human-centred interviewing and candidate experience. I get excited about designing and scaling effective hiring programs, coaching and developing teams, and using data-informed experiments to drive change. Engineering is my speciality, but I’ve hired across all RnD & non-tech disciplines. I believe in leading with the right balance of empathy and accountability. I have a strong growth mindset, and thrive in ambiguous and constantly changing environments. During my 8 years at Shopify, I was among the first TA team members, and helped to grow the company over 20x.
