
Dr. Drogos is board-certified neurologic clinical specialist emeritus, and has over 14 years experience teaching on the postgraduate level in the field of physical therapy with a focus on anatomy, examination and evaluation, management of neurologic patient populations, neuroscience, and foundational skills. Dr. Drogos' research work focuses on the study of the mechanisms underlying sensory and motor dysfunction in individuals with stroke, with a focus on upper extremity impairment within the chronic stroke population. He works closely with Drs. Jun Yao and Carolina Carmona to study the feasibility and impact of a novel therapeutic prosthesis (the ReInHand) on improving hand function and reducing functional limitations in the severe chronic stroke population. Dr. Drogos is also an experienced improviser, who has begun integrating and researching medical improvisational techniques in DPT education. Dr. Drogos has presented his work at local, statewide, and national conferences. Dr. Drogos is currently a PhD candidate in the Rush University College of Health Sciences.
