I have 20 years of experience in developer relations and engineering leadership. I really care about growing people and believe in taking action, getting things done, building strong relationships, and solving problems. I focus my work and my team on achieving real impact, working on things that matter. What sets me apart is my deep empathy for both users and developers. I strive to help them do the right thing, whether that’s making better technical decisions or building products that serve real needs. Leading teams and helping people grow is what motivates me. I try to put myself in the shoes of developers and colleagues, and I work hard to make sure everyone feels supported and heard. Trust is paramount and it takes time to earn. During my current tenure at Google, I’ve been fortunate to work on developer relations across all major lines of business, starting with the AdWords API, then Cloud, Firebase, Android, Android Enterprise, Android Security, and most recently the Privacy Sandbox, which covers privacy for users and businesses across Gemini, Android, Chrome, and Cloud. Previously, I built embedded safety critical software for Marine One, the presidential helicopter, and made a real impact on time, budget, and safety. I’ve also implemented critical systems for large financial commodity companies. Outside of work, I you may find me traveling, running, investing, canyoneering, playing video games, and learning how things work.
