Josh Burger is the Founder and Sport Psychology Coach of Tiebreaker Psych. Josh specializes in teaching sport and performance psychology skills to athletes and performers of all sports, ages, and levels. Josh was an all-conference tennis player at Clark University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Josh attended California State University, Long Beach where he received his Master's Degree in Sport Psychology while researching mental toughness in college sports. Josh is also USPTA and PTR-Certified tennis coach who has coached at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI and at the Division 1 level as the Assistant Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Throughout Josh’s career as a competitive tennis player and coach he has realized the importance of the mental side of sports. Through his Sport Psychology education and mental skills training he has helped a wide range of individuals and teams perform at higher levels and find more fulfillment in their sport. Tiebreaker Psych LLC teaches Sport Psychology skills through establishing routines and self-talk techniques, developing short/long term goal-setting strategies, and mindfulness/meditation training.
