Enterprise Technology, Innovation, and Commercialization Executive (NASA, White House)

I am an enterprise technology and innovation senior executive and trusted advisor with ~20 years of interdisciplinary experience driving impact across government, academia, non-profits, and the private sector. I help organizations be more effective by focusing strategies, aligning resources with strategy, creating environments of belonging for employees, and embracing innovative approaches and technologies in delivery/ execution. After almost 20 years at NASA, the White House, consulting, and other endeavors, I am on a Sabbatical to pursue reading, writing, travel and connection as I explore the next chapter in my career. I was most recently the Acting Deputy Associate Administrator for Management of the Space Technology Mission Directorate (i.e., COO+Strategy) at NASA from March-September 2025. I have also served as the Director of Early Stage Innovations and Partnerships (Career SES) and various other program leadership roles at NASA. I am also the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for the Van Alen Institute in NYC. I have previously worked at the White House OSTP, Harvard Kennedy School, several other Federal agencies, in the private sector, and on numerous non-profit governing and advisory boards. My expertise includes research and development, change leadership, entrepreneurship and small business innovation, open innovation, prizes and challenges, public private partnerships, contracts and grants management, and technology policy. I love telling stories that inspire people to engage with the future and imagine how to solve complex challenges; I speak and write on topics including innovation leadership and management, the future of work, human-machine collaboration, organizational transformation and change management, open innovation, and harnessing public-private partnerships to optimize public service delivery.
