Former Chief Legal Officer of Och-Ziff Capital Management, one of the largest multi-strategy hedge funds in history. I am now working at the nexus of traditional finance and blockchain technology, advising Web3, DeFi and other digital asset projects on a broad range of legal, regulatory and operational matters. At Och-Ziff, I built and managed a global legal department located in New York, London and Hong Kong and led the firm’s initial public offering. Following my retirement from Och-Ziff, I have focused on entrepreneurial projects ranging from building an e-commerce platform for a hospitality business to early-stage digital asset projects. These projects included a centralized digital asset exchange, a Web3 native digital identity tool, and serving on the founding team of a DeFi exchange. I also served as the first CEO of the Association for Digital Asset Markets. As outside counsel, I advised financial services firms and structured a broad range of financial products at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, Crowell & Moring LLP and Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP. I previously served as a Board Member for Quadrata, Inc. and the Wolf Conservation Center.
