I am currently working at Argo AI, leading the machine learning platform team. This platform is used by the autonomy teams to build the various machine learning models that enable our vehicles to drive safely and confidently. In the past, as the first full time engineer on the analytics platform team at Argo AI, I laid the foundational building blocks of the analytics platform that is now used throughout the company to gain insights on system performance at all levels of the autonomy stack, drive key decisions by stakeholders, deliver trusted numbers for regulatory reporting, and used for day-to-day operational purposes. Previous work includes realtime distributed analytical systems that are used in production at multiple companies. I am passionate about writing robust, maintainable and soundly designed software that solves real problems. As a developer, I am able to bridge the communications gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. I have worked on various projects that involve data visualization, large scale data processing, distributed computing, database internals, distributed consensus, neural networks, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, image processing, internationalization, robotics, embedded software and firmware, performance tuning on the JVM and distributed systems, among other things.
