I'm passionate about designing, provisioning, and managing databases that support mission-critical applications and business processes. My field of expertise is SQL Server and Azure SQL, and I have multiple credentials in AWS and Azure SQL. I'm currently working as a DBA Manager at Encore Software Services, a leading provider of software solutions and services to various Projects. I'm motivated by the challenge of delivering high-performance, secure, and reliable databases that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders. I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. As a DBA Manager, I'm responsible for overseeing the database operations and ensuring the quality and availability of the database services. I manage a team of database administrators who perform various tasks such as provisioning and configuring databases, monitoring and optimizing performance, designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and ensuring security and compliance. I also collaborate with other teams such as developers, engineers, analysts, and project managers to provide database support and guidance. Some of the skills that I use and improve in my role are Always-On, AWS, Azure SQL, and performance tuning. I'm proud of the achievements that I and my team have accomplished, such as successfully migrating several databases to Azure SQL, improving database performance by 35%, and resolving several critical issues in a timely manner.
