Chief Facilities Officer at Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras

A life spent in the arts, Gabriel's career has ranged from orchestra operations to education administration to teaching. Using his passion for music technology, Gabriel has written curriculum for classroom music and well as performance ensembles. He is the author of "Mastering Sibelius 6" published by Cengage Technology. Currently, Gabriel is the General Manager for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. In this role, he leads operational efforts and personnel for the 600 students and their families served by the BYSO who participate in BYSO's regular season, camp, and tours in addition to the Intensive Community Program (ICP) and Boston Public Schools String Training Program. Gabriel works closely with the senior staff team, the Executive Director, Music Director, and Board of Directors on a range of institutional, educational, and artistic planning matters and has direct responsibility for generating conductor, artistic staff, and guest artist contracts and negotiating rental agreements for facilities.
