Currently lead all marketing efforts for Grifin! 12+ years leading overall marketing strategy, including product marketing management & growth, CRM, all major paid acquisition channels, organic acquisition, user activation, content & copy A/B testing, retention marketing, and community management. In 2013, I co-founded my first venture-backed consumer software company, SmackHigh, while a full-time undergrad at Harvard College. In 2015, I left Harvard to pursue SmackHigh full time, organically growing the brand & social media following from 0 to over 1.2 million high school students nationwide - with $0 spent on marketing. SmackHigh became America’s first dedicated high school-only content platform. Our content produced over 500 million impressions each month - along with 250k unique monthly high school website visitors - and saturated 1/3rd of all US high schools. In 2016, after building on my learnings from growing SmackHigh, I co-founded Fam, the world’s 1st group video chat app for iMessage. I crafted the marketing & growth launch that took Fam from 0 to 1 million users in just its first 10 days, becoming the fastest app in history to achieve that feat (recently dethroned by ChatGPT). We grew the user base to 8 million users around the world, the #1 app in the iMessage App Store, and was voted “#1 iMessage app of 2016” by VentureBeat, and we sold the company to Boston-based DraftKings pre-IPO. In mid-2018, I worked on DraftKing's CRM / Revenue team for over a year, tasked with retention & monetization marketing for their NFL Daily Fantasy product - the company’s biggest revenue generator at the time - as well as their MLB, NASCAR, CBB, and WNBA products. Additionally, I launched & led the DraftKings' first formal A/B creative testing program, leading content & copy experimentation seeking to find significance in in revenue-per-user and engagement. Worked closely with Creative, Product, and Revenue Operations teams to drive increased existing user engagement and revenue. In mid-2019, I left DraftKings to join Trade Hounds for over 3 years, building the brand to be America's largest construction & skilled trades community. I grew the community to over 500k installs nationwide, led all top of funnel user acquisition, retention marketing, referral, and our community. We sold Trade Hounds to Material Management in 2023.
