I am passionate about the implementation of blockchain technology for good. My journey into Web3 started when I became the Program Lead for the State of Hawaii's Digital Currency Innovation Lab (DCIL). The DCIL was a pilot program focused on establishing a regulatory framework for crypto companies to operate in Hawaii without the need for a money transmitter license. In 2021, I was selected by Pacific Business News as 40 Under 40 Honoree (Class of 2021) for my work in economic development while serving as an Economic Development Specialist with the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, a state agency attached to the Hawaii State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT). Prior to moving to Hawaii, I worked in technology for companies in the United States (Silicon Valley, San Diego), South Korea (Seoul), India (New Delhi), and Singapore. My corporate experience spans both public (State Government of Hawaii) and private sectors through a diverse range of companies in the tech and retail industries, with roles in strategy and planning, go-to-market, partnerships, and e-commerce.
