Ed is a versatile executive with over 20 years of experience in investment, innovation, value creation and business/team building in the technology, media, and telecom sectors. He is and experienced Investor, Board member, and industry thought leader; sitting on 8 Boards before joining Apple. Ed is currently leading Global Partnerships & Partner Marketing in the Internet Software and Services Group at Apple. Prior to joining Apple, Ed was responsible for strategic investments and venture development activities at Verizon Ventures Verizon’s global corporate venture arm. Ed spent nearly 15 years at Verizon; managing multimillion dollar marketing budgets, over $100m of investment funding, over $1B in P&L related to mobile and media products and services, and was responsible for leading Verizon’s business presence in Silicon Valley for nearly ten years. Ed earned a BA in Communications from University of California, San Diego.
