I’m an executive TA leader and in-house operator with 13+ years of experience recruiting at early-stage startups from seed to growth and exit. Most recently, I was VP of Talent at Coast, where over four years I scaled headcount from 15 to 120+ across all functions — taking the company from pre-launch Seed through Series B as revenue grew from $0 to tens of millions in ARR. Operating within tight financial constraints, I maintained an average time-to-fill under 40 days and an offer acceptance rate above 80%, despite working as a one-person team for over three years before adding a senior recruiter in the final eight months. Previously, I spent six years at Genius (Rap Genius), where I built and led a recruiting team of three and grew the company from ~30 to 120+ employees and $40M in revenue, leading up to its acquisition by MediaLab. Alongside scaling IC and manager roles across all departments, I made several notable executive hires including a Director of Engineering, VP of Design, VP of Marketing, two CFOs, a President (likely a CEO backfill), and a Board Director. Earlier in my career, I built the career services and job placement function for General Assembly’s NYC campus. Over 3.5 years (prior to GA’s acquisition by Adecco), my team placed 1,500+ graduates into engineering, product, and design roles at both startups and Fortune 500 companies.
