Currently work as a European Programme Manager at Eurecat in Barcelona. Coordinator of a 4 year Horizon Europe Innovation project, RECREATE with an objective to promote the use of alternative water resources to make European regions more climate resilient. I hail from the beautiful state of Kerala in south India, and now based in Barcelona since 2015. I am very passionate about sustainability and contibuting to climate change mitigation and adaptation in organisations and cities. I have a diverse experience working in different roles related to corporate sustainability management, carbon footprinting, ESG strategy, and technology innovation in the areas of smart buildings smart cities, and the wider sustainability space. In 2014, I moved to Europe to pursue my Masters in 'Cities and Sustainability'. Before joining EURECAT, I worked on diverse roles in two technology companies from BCN ranging from international business development, product branding & marketing, innovation project management to secure public funding for innovation (H2020, Horizon Europe, NUCLIS, EUROSTARS, and Eureka), and managing R&D projects related to sustainability.
