Future-focussed innovation & experience design, IDEO alum

I’m a physical / digital experience design leader leveraging years of experience to help companies strategically pivot into new territory. While I thrive on creating and communicating strategic visions, I produce my best work when I can pressure-test and sharpen those visions by working shoulder-to-shoulder with design & development teams to make the vision real. Whether it comes in the form of a physical consumer product, an app, a film screen, a museum, a game, or even a spaceship; whether it leverages physical space, digital interactions, peripheral senses, or group interactions, *the common thread uniting my work is leveraging human-centered research, data, and deep design process to help folks to think differently about how to reach their next goal.* For example: I’ve designed DIGITAL experiences - such as a marketplace platform to connect therapists with their patients through a physical therapeutic device; I’ve designed SPATIAL experiences - such as the brand & visitor journey for the Museum of the Future in Dubai, and the consumer experience of space flight for Blue Origin; I’ve created PRODUCT experiences - such as a connected device which uses rhythm to mitigate chronic pain, a wearable navigation system for the blind, and home robots for families; I’ve designed ENTERTAINMENT experiences — such as Ironman's very first Heads Up Display and the interactive technology in James Cameron’s Avatar; And I've crafted GROUP experiences - such as a deep dive into the contentious terrain of A.I. and healthcare for the Stanford School of Medicine; I’ve even taken a stab at designing more inclusive JEWISH RITUALS for Reboot (ask me about that one!). A Taurus on the cusp of Aries, I enjoy sunrise dips in the ocean, oysters, watching leaves blow, and star-spangled pants.
