Darren Eastman is a principal product manager at GitLab and responsible for GitLab Runner - the open-source agent that is the engine for GitLab CI. The product strategy spans the following areas. Runner Runner Fleet and Runner Core - the core open-source runner application that can be deployed on physical compute devices, autoscaled on public cloud VM's or launched in a container. GitLab Runner also includes market-leading CI build support on Kubernetes, including the recent launch of a GitLab Runner Operator for Red Hat OpenShift. Fleet Visibility - this covers user experience and management for organizations that self-host GitLab Runners at scale. In this role, Darren works closely with the GitLab community, strategic partners, customers, and engineers to deliver value-based outcomes and continued innovation.
