My goal is to work towards creating sustainable solutions that inspire both brands and consumers. I am interested in leveraging both my design and marketing skills at the intersection of fashion and sustainability. In my Freshman year at Parsons, one of my required courses was a class called Drawing/Imaging. As a Business major, I found this class to be extremely daunting, especially with talented illustration majors. It was the first time I couldn’t teach myself a skill I was not innately good at, but it was also the first time I learned how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. To this day, this was one of my most pivotal learning experiences as I learned how to navigate a situation that was overwhelming and scary, and learned that determination and perseverance can help you overcome any challenges. I might not be the best at drawing, but I am a strong problem solver. I have strong interpersonal skills that allow me to determine the strengths of my teammates and how to utilize these strengths to be the most successful. I am flexible and open minded, and not afraid of any challenges. I am passionate about Sustainability. I have a Sustainability Certificate from LIM College and FashionDex, and have taken sustainability and CSR related coursework at LIM College where I graduated with my Masters in Fashion Communication with academic honors. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and have created various presentation decks that have been presented to clients and prospective investors. Both my passion and skill set are what make me a strong brand strategist and communication designer.
