Never went to college. I was going to make it… as a rock star. Literally. Or so I thought. As a 6’2 175 lb. progressive metal percussionist, by age 18, I had achieved full limbic independence which means I could play just about anything, in any time signature, in any combination. That came from years of playing Rush, Dream Theater, Zeppelin, The Who and anything else I would get my hands on. Then I began composing monster drum lines. I looked like Tommy Lee and played like Neil Peart. RIP Neil. From an early age, I could always see and read between the lines. I could see what was missing in learning, school, life and relationships. That intuition led me to marry my wife and to God at age 21. Life began hard. Kids right away. I sold my drum kit, we cried, we scrapped, we saved, we built, we lost and rebuilt. I started in Sales until I found Recruiting. Then we won. Once I combined both, my career took off. I was a high producer everywhere I’ve ever worked and been a part of world class teams. Throughout, I have built and scaled multiple internal and external talent acquisition machines. After years of sales, search and leading TA teams, I launched my first agency in 2002. Bootstrapped it. Profitable in 90 days. Cash pouring in, it just kept growing and by 2007, ASA had 9 recruiters. I learned how to bring value placing GTM and technical teams. I haven’t looked back. We had Money, Time, and Freedom. To date I've never taken any investment capital and have worked with hundreds of client companies and thousands of jobseekers. Fast forward to 2025, I do the same thing I always have. I read between the lines, find blind spots, build strategies to eliminate and execute on repeat. I have created a seven step start to finish framework for building next level GTM teams which work together to form a well-oiled, holistic client facing machine within the industry I love most, to help my clients complete the mission they have set out to achieve.
