Principal Executive Recruiter who has worked as a hybrid between Executive and Design teams operating as a player-coach. I like finding that perfect candidate, driving alignment in teams, and troubleshooting processes while managing special projects to improve the organizations that I support. I have a background in Executive, Design, and Business Recruitment as well as Creative Agency, EdTech, and non-profit organizations. I have an undeniable passion for crafting the narrative that gets people excited about joining scaling organizations. I also have experience with people management, cross-team collaboration, and I have a technical background in SCRUM and Agile software development methodologies. Ultimately I love to build things - whether that is through recruiting for the hiring managers that I have earned trust from, or as a project manager - collaborating on new products with brilliant minds - very often across multiple continents. Prior to my time in-house, I worked as a Senior Business Development manager and as a Division Director. I had the privilege of managing accounts and recruitment teams. In these cases, I also managed my own book of business where I reached out to new and current partners and offered them a look into the vetted talent pool and services we provide. Before Agency Staffing life - I worked with an EdTech Startup called Gooru, which is a non-profit Search Engine for Learning whose mission in based in the belief that access to equal educational opportunities should be a human right. During my time at Gooru I managed the optimization of the search experience for our users, collaborated on the development of our sales and partner acquisition strategy, and managed the flagship technical partnership through its international release. I often get asked what brought me out to the Bay Area. I started my career here by volunteering a year of my service in inner-city schools with City Year through the AmeriCorps program in San Jose, CA.
