As an aspiring ethical hacker, I have worked continuously to utilize various open source tools and proprietary software to conduct penetration testing, malware analysis and web application security. I gained additional skills to ensure proficiency with the OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL and other common protocols, network infrastructure and security tools, while completing my bachelors in Computer Information Systems. To capitalize on my education, I began networking, and joined multiple communities, including Women in Cybersecurity and IEEE. Along with that, I have spent months collaborating with innovators in the space, like HackTheBox and tryhaceme.com. As a crypto analyst, I have several years of experience in monitoring, analyzing, and securing blockchain transactions and smart contracts. Beyond that, I recently obtained my Ciphertrace certification, to better investigate and assess on-chain interactions with even greater precision. In addition to my computer and networking skills, I have a strong background in aviation, communications, and customer service. These experiences have enhanced my presentation, marketing, and problem-solving abilities. As a unit movement officer and pilot in the US Army, I was responsible for organizing, deploying, and maintaining millions of dollars of equipment and personnel, as well as conducting tactical evacuation and rescue missions as second in command of a Tier I aircraft both stateside and abroad. As a former customer service agent, I delivered exceptional hospitality and entertainment to a diverse set of global customers, while maximizing my problem solving and critical thinking skills. A big part of my identity is to learn and grow, whenever and where ever I can. Whether that be a SQL or Python class, starting a backyard garden or volunteering in my neighborhood, my goal is to brighten and diversify any group I am apart of.
