
I've always been a builder and entrepreneur, founding and operating an art studio, then a craft brewery for years before transitioning into tech in 2017. That career pivot turned into my passion: helping companies scale and grow their sales teams and operations. 1.) I build teams at various stages: starting from zero, scaling to meet demand, blending teams post-M&A, and restructuring roles/focus to achieve company goals. I've overseen and grown multi-functional sales teams (AE,AM, SDR, Managers) to 25+ individuals at my last two companies. It all starts with bringing in the best people, creating a winning culture, and doing everything I can to make them successful. 2.) I professionalize sales organizations, creating a simple and repeatable approach. I've implemented entire Salesforce systems and prefer to keep a lean stack when possible. I'm data-driven and ensure that my teams always operate around a core source of truth to which everyone is held accountable. 3.) I've owned the GTM strategy and execution for many products. These projects are hugely challenging and rewarding, requiring cross-functional collaboration internally. There is nothing more fun than selling a new product - there's so much to learn (and 'fail'). I've consistently delivered results with these initiatives leading to consistent Y/Y growth and more than doubling customer acquisition multiple times in my career. 4.) I push myself and my team to be 1% better every day. Businesses and the market change quickly. I pride myself on constantly learning, failing forward, and maintaining calm in the face of adversity. Personally, I'm originally from Pittsburgh and moved to Chicago in 2006. I live on the north side with my wife and daughter. I'm an avid cook, camper, gardener, and gamer.
