Chris is a seasoned finance leader with over two decades of experience in driving growth within high-impact Fintech environments. Over the past ten years, Chris has excelled in building, scaling, and managing finance teams in high-growth startups, consistently delivering capital to support scaling and growth. JUMO: As one of the early employees and a member of the Executive team, Chris played a pivotal role in building and managing the finance team. He successfully completed multiple equity and debt financing rounds, securing the capital necessary to scale the business. JUMO has become one of Africa’s leading Fintech companies, reaching 28 million customers and disbursing $7 billion in loans since its inception. BVNK: Currently, Chris is part of the senior leadership team at BVNK, serving as the SVP of Finance. He oversees the Corporate & Commercial Finance functions. BVNK recently closed its Series B funding round and is expanding into the US market. Chris is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA / CGMA). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch.
