As a graduate of the Master's Program in Design for Social Innovation at the School of Visual Arts, and with more than 20 years of experience in project management, user-centered design, resource development, research, writing, and leadership, I help companies and organizations implement strategies to more seamlessly integrate their business and social impact goals, and create innovative solutions to problems. Areas of expertise include: PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Extensive experience implementing and managing multiple projects at a time, including overseeing staff and consultants in locations across the country, developing and maintaining budgets, and organizing timelines. Known for consistently hitting goals with effectiveness and efficiency. USER-CENTERED DESIGN: Specialize in rigorous user research to identify underlying sources of problems in order to develop more effective business responses. Skilled at bringing together disparate groups of people and solving for shared needs and goals. Extensive experience working in communities across the US. RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT: Author of multiple reports and over 50 tools that help organizations innovate to meet the needs of the communities they serve and face the challenges of the external environment. Focus specifically on finding alternatives to current assumptions and expectations of how organizations should be run, and envisioning a future in which businesses and NGOs are doing their best work, for better communities. FACILITATION & COMMUNICATION: Expert at designing and facilitating meetings at all levels from executive to client/community members.
